Tips to help your shrimp thrive

Start with a well established and cycled aquarium
Recommended tank size: 10g or larger
A buffer or soil with buffering capacity is needed to maintain proper pH. Examples: ADA Amazonia, Brightwell, Tropica, etc.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water is needed so that you can remineralize to create the proper water parameters
Mixing certain types of caradina shrimp can work, but all bee and tiger shrimp can cross Example: Blue Bolt X Black King Kong = shadow panda
Sponge filtration is best
Keep shrimp-specific tanks to avoid likely losses, and to exhibit your shrimps best behavior
